Ceramic Sensations by Add An Accent (86506)
Morgana and her alter ego, The Raven roam a starlit night, dreaming dreams of what might have been and what will be. This is taken from the print by Brian Froud and is a high quality, 8X10 inch, ceramic tile with a full cork backing and two attached hangers. A beautiful gossamer ribbon is included for hanging the art pieces on your wall, or you can fold the hangers out of the way for countertop use.
Morgana, alias The Morrigan. Known as the goddess of battle, strife, and fertility, The Morrigan appears in history as both a single goddess and a trio of goddesses. The other deities who form the trio are Badb ("Crow"), and either Macha (also connotes "Crow") or Nemain ("Frenzy"). The Morrigan frequently appears in the guise of a hooded crow but has long been known as a shape shifter, changing herself from one shape to another at will. Her role in ancient histories often involves premonitions of a particular warrior's violent death, suggesting a link with the Banshee of later folklore.
